RIVER FALLS, Wis. — The Saint Mary's University men's hockey team, which has been off since Nov. 22, returns to action Friday evening, traveling to UW-River Falls for a 7 p.m. nonconference contest against the Falcons at W.H. Hunt Arena.

Last Action: The Cardinals' bid for a split in their two-game Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference series against Hamline came up one goal short, as the Pipers scored less than a minute into the third period and held off SMU 3-2 on Nov. 22 at the SMU Ice Arena. UW-River Falls, meanwhile, broke open a one-goal game with a pair of third-period tallies in handing Bethel a 5-2 setback Tuesday in Blaine, Minn.
