Wildcat Notes: Wednesday's loss to St. Thomas was the Wildcats' fourth straight, and put them two games behind Hamline and Bethel for the fifth and sixth MIAC playoff spots with five games to play. … St. Catherine has not won, or lost, less than two games in a row. CSC has put together winning streaks of five (to open the season) and three (twice), while their nine losses have come during losing streaks of three, two and four straight. … CSC finished with a pair of double-figure scorers vs. the Tommies, as Laura Kalbfell netted a team-best 15 points, while Megan Zillmer chipped in 11. It was the third straight game — 10th time this season Kalbfell has led the team in scoring. … Kalbfell enters today's game as the Wildcats' leading scorer, boasting a 17.6 ppg scoring average. She also leads the conference in field goals (108), points (304) and scoring average (17.9 ppg). … Brooke Hakanson (11.9 ppg) and Molly Peterson (10.1 ppg) are also averaging in double figures for the Wildcats. … CSC's 47 points vs. St. Thomas Wednesday were a season low, and just the eighth time in 20 games the Wildcats have not scored at least 70 points.
