ST. PAUL, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University men's soccer team, coming off a 4-1 nonconference loss at NCAA Division II Upper Iowa on Wednesday, returns to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Friday, traveling to Macalester for a 7:30 p.m. contest.

The Cardinals got on the board first against Upper Iowa Wednesday, but the Peacocks' Derek Oelmann responded with three unanswered goals in leading UIU to a 4-1 nonconference victory in Fayette, Iowa. Macalester, meanwhile, has been off since last Saturday, when the Scots got a goal from Taylor Rasmussen in the game's 78th minute to beat Bethel 1-0 in St. Paul, Minn.
