The Cardinals got a 39-save effort from Andy Scheib (Sun Prairie, Wis.), but it was not enough, as MSOE scored twice in the game's final five minutes to hand SMU a 2-0 nonconference setback at the Kern Ice Center.

Last Meeting:
January 7-8, 2005: The Cardinals and Raiders split their last nonconference series in Milwaukee, Wis. MSOE scored three times in the second period in handing the Cardinals a 4-1 setback in the opener, while SMU rebounded the following afternoon, scoring once in the second period and once in the third to beat the Raiders 2-1.

The Cardinals close out the 2010 portion of their schedule next Friday, traveling to Fond du Lac, Wis., for a nonconference game against Marian. The Raiders have not allowed more than two goals in a game through their first seven contests. … Jordan Keizer scored both goals vs. Saint Mary's Friday night, giving the sophomore forward a team-leading 10 goals.
