3-2 nonconference victory in Sheboygan, Wis. The Cardinals got second-half goals from
Ryan Rademacher (La Crosse, Wis.) and
Juamaine Venter (Rochester, Minn.) to erase a 2-0 deficit and set up Neu's heroics.

The Muskies are coming off a season in which they ranked third in program history for goals (34) and assists (24) in a season en route to an 8-10-1 overall record. … Five of Lakeland's eight wins a year ago came on the road, where the Muskies were 5-3-0. … GK Alex Piekarski is coming off an impressive freshman season, in which he was named to the All-NAC Freshman Team after posting a 1.46 goals-against-average and a .731 save percentage. Piekarski finished with three saves in Saturday's loss to Martin Luther.
