Jess Miller (Carver, Minn.) scored a game-high 21 points in the Cardinals' loss to league-leading Saint Benedict on Monday. It was the fourth straight game in which the SMU senior has netted 20 or more points. … Miller — who earned MIAC Player of the Week honors after averaging 21.5 ppg in SMU's two games last week — has now eclipsed the 20-point barrier eight times in her four-year collegiate career. … Miller, who has scored 23, 21, 22 and 21 points in her last four games, is the ninth player in program history to record 1,000 career points.
