Men's MIAC Championships Results
ST. PAUL, Minn. –
David Feather (Oak Creek, Wis.) made his final Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships a memorable one, as the Saint Mary's University senior placed 22nd overall Saturday afternoon.
Feather clocked an eight-kilometer time of 26:24 over the Como Park course to lead the Cardinals to a seventh-place team finish.
Hamline brought home the men's title with 45 points, edging St. Olaf by nine points, while Saint John's (111), Bethel (118)) and St. Thomas (150) rounded out the top five.
The Tommies' Ben Sathre was the top individual finisher, stopping the clock in 24:54, while Hamline took spots two through four. The Pipers' Devin Monson was second (25:26), ,followed by Jack Deichert (25:27) and Ellis Richardson (25:28). Tom Sederquist of Concordia rounded out the top five with a time of 25:30.
Aaron Haley (Plainview, Minn.) was the second Cardinal across the line, as the freshman recorded a time of 26:34.
Peter Borash (Bowlus, Minn.) finished in 26:56, with
John Soucheray (Woodbury, Minn. / 27:21) and
Jake Traxler (Le Center / 27:23) rounded out the Cardinals' top five.
SMU is back in action on Nov. 12, traveling to Waverly, Iowa, for the NCAA Central Regional.
