WINONA, Minn. - Dear Cross Country and Track & Field alumni,

We are excited to share a matching gift challenge, on behalf of two of your  fellow alums, Jenny (Folgers) Baertsch B'05 and Jim Baerstch B'04.

They started as a small group working to sponsor a locker, and through their efforts, an anonymous benefactor stepped forward and pledged $4,000 to sponsor two additional lockers if $4,000 could be raised by Cross Country and Track & Field alumni.

More than 30 alumni have already contributed, but help is still needed to reach the goal!

A single locker sponsorship at Saint Mary's is $2,000, and the goal of the challenge is to be able to sponsor a locker each in the Men's Cross Country, Women's Cross Country, Men's Track & Field, and Women's Track & Field locker rooms.

Two of the lockers will be sponsored in honor of two alums who have faced extraordinary challenges, Jerod Baertsch B'09 and the late Michael Mockler B'12. The remaining two lockers will be sponsored by Alumni Friends of Cross Country and Track & Field.
