The Cardinals never found their grove Wednesday evening, as they shot just 26 percent from the field in falling to St. Olaf 56-47 in overtime at the SMU Gym. … Carleton, meanwhile, got a career-high 11 points from Kayla Kramer, but host St. Thomas used two big first-half runs to roll past the Knights 79-57 in St. Paul, Minn., Wednesday.

Today's game against Carleton is the Cardinals' final home game of the season — and the final home game in the careers of graduating seniors Cherie Kulig (Independence, Wis.), Jess Miller (Carver, Minn.) and Kim Kaminski (Milwaukee, Wis.). … With Wednesday's 56-47 loss to St. Olaf, the Cardinals fell one-half game behind Hamline and Macalester for the sixth and final MIAC playoff spot.
