NORTHFIELD, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University men's basketball team takes to the road on Wednesday, heading to St. Olaf for a 7:30 p.m. conference game against the Oles.

January 5, 2011: Chris Palmer recorded a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds, but it was not enough, as St. Olaf walked into the SMU Gym and walked out with a 65-55 MIAC victory over the Cardinals.

January 13, 2010: The Oles' inside-outside combination of Bobby Fong, Alfred Jaryan and Stu Neville wore the Cardinals out, as St. Olaf outscored SMU 43-37 in the second half en route to a 75-69 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference victory.

February 17, 2010: The Cardinals — fueled by a career-high 32 points from Lukas Holland (La Crosse, Wis.) — used a 15-3 burst to break open a 41-41 deadlock and lead SMU to a 77-64 conference victory at the SMU Gym.

Will Wright (Chicago, Ill.) poured in a game-high 26 points to lead four players in double figures against Hamline on Saturday. … Wright's 26 points were three shy of his season high and marked the second straight game and fifth time this season the SMU senior has scored 20 or more points. … Wright has now scored in double figures in nine straight games, 19 times this season and 85 times in his 96-game collegiate career. … Wright has eclipsed the 20-point barrier 34 times in his career. … Wright enters tonight's game at St. Olaf sitting fifth all-time with 1,717 career points. With their 93-64 win over Macalester Saturday, the Oles pushed their winning streak to four straight. St. Olaf has also won eight of its last 10, sandwiching losses to Concordia and Carleton between a pair of four-game winning streaks. … St. Olaf's 93 points vs. Macalester Saturday marked the third time this season the Oles have netted 90 or more points. The Oles scored a season-high 102 points in a 102-96 win over Hamline on Jan. 12. … Stu Neville recorded a double-double of 19 points and 10 rebounds against Macalester Saturday. It was Neville's fifth double-double of the season. … Bobby Fong also scored 19 points vs. the Scots Saturday, while Alfred Jaryan chipped in 10 points and nine assists. … Fong has led or shared the team lead in scoring in each of the last four games and eight times this season. … Fong has drained a team-leading 44 3-pointers.
