October 19, 2011: It was a game of chances as SMU squared off against Viterbo at Ochrymowycz Field. Make that a game of missed chances, as the Cardinals put six shots on the V-Hawks' goal, while Viterbo peppered SMU goalkeeper Chris Williams with eight shots. Yet, through 90 minutes of regulation and a pair of 10-minute overtime periods, with every offensive opportunity the Cardinals and V-Hawks created, they came up empty time and time again, as the two teams battled to a 0-0 nonconference tie.
