The Cardinals snapped a pair of streaks with Tuesday's 2-0 win over Macalester. SMU snapped a two-game losing streak, while also ending an 11-game losing streak and 25-game winless streak (0-22-3) against the Scots — a streak that dated back to a Cardinal win during the 1986 season. … Matt Graber (Denver, Colo.) scored both goals against Macalester Tuesday, marking the second time this season the sophomore has scored two goals in a game. The last time SMU had a multiple-game, multiple-goal scorer was Joey Manley in 2007. … Graber now leads the team in both goals (4) and points (9), while Jaime Zepeda (Chicago, Ill.) boasts a team-best three assists. … Graber's four goals are the only ones of SMU's 19 goals this season not scored by a player in his first year in a Cardinal uniform. … The Cardinals have now had a multiple-goal scorer four times this season — Graber twice, and Krystian Drozdz (Franklin Park, Ill.) and Midhat Mujic (Rochester, Minn.) once each. It marks the most multiple-goal scorers since the 2006 season, when Mike Schmitt (twice), James Kuhnle and Emmanuel Ogunremi all scored twice in a game. … Joey Petrich (Elk River, Minn.) and Dontae Gillespie (Naperville, Ill.) combined on a four-save shutout vs. Macalester Tuesday. Augsburg's 3-2 win over Concordia on Tuesday was the Auggies' second straight win. … Augsburg has outscored its last two opponents 8-2. … After opening the season 5-0-1, Augsburg is 5-5-1 in its last 11 games. … Eleven of the Auggies 16 games — including all five losses — have been decided by one goal or less. … Augsburg has scored four goals or more in a game four times this season — including a season-high five goals in a 5-0 win over Hamline last Saturday. … Tuesday's win over Concordia was the 10th of the season for the Auggies, marking the third straight year — and sixth time in their last seven seasons — that Augsburg has recorded at least 10 wins. … Scott Clinton's game-winning goal with 18 seconds remaining in regulation in Tuesday's 3-2 win over Concordia was his team-leading fifth goal of the season.
