HASTINGS, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University women's hockey team steps out of conference play on Tuesday, squaring off against St. Scholastica in a neutral-site nonconference game at the Hastings Ice Arena.

The Cardinals came up empty in their conference series against St. Catherine last weekend, falling 3-2 to the Wildcats at the SMU Ice Arena on Friday, before dropping a 4-1 decision in the teams' rematch on Saturday at Drake Arena in St. Paul, Minn. … St. Scholastica, meanwhile, has been off since Nov. 13, when the Saints scored two goals in the game's final 25 seconds to earn a 4-4 tie with Hamline in a nonconference game in Duluth, Minn.

The same two teams will return to the SMU Ice Arena for the second-game of their conference series on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. … St. Scholastica, meanwhile, is on the road on Nov. 30-Dec. 1, heading to Adrian, Mich., for back-to-back NCHA games against Adrian.
