WINONA, Minn. — With Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference competitions taking part this weekend, several Saint Mary's University spring senior student-athletes will be unable to take part in Saturday's commencement festivities.

To honor these student-athletes, SMU held a pre-commencement commencement on Tuesday, as Brother President William Mann presented baseball players Sam Nord, Matt Tessmer, Vince Lulic, Justin Kronebusch, Teddy VanRanst, Kyle Servais, and Mike Feriancek, and track and field athletes Jake Traxler, Peter Borash, Colin Sheehan, Ryan Winegardner and Coco Booker with their diplomas during a ceremony in the Common Room in Saint Mary's Hall.
