RIPON, Wis. — The Saint Mary's University volleyball team put an end to their four-match losing streak in convincing fashion Friday evening, as the Cardinals cruised to a 3-1 victory over Milwaukee School of Engineering at the Ripon Red Hawk Invitational.

And as good as the Cardinals were in their tournament-opener, they were even better in their second match of the season, cruising to a 3-0 win over UW-Superior.

Cassidy Bittle (Winona, Minn.)—coming off a career-high 18-kill showing against nationally ranked St. Thomas, recorded a team-high 14 kills and hit .485 against MSOE, while Kenzie Lind (Rushford, Minn.) and Alex Peterson (Harmony, Minn.) each recorded 11 kills. Brittney Hansen (Janesville, Minn.) and Tayler MacVey (Dodge Center, Minn.) finished with 20 and 18 assists, respectively, and Lex Krogstad (Chicago, Ill.) recorded a team-leading 21 digs.

Against the Yellowjackets, Lind and Molly Grover (Zumbrota, Minn.) led the Cardinal offense, each compiling nine kills, while Macki Fadness (Eau Claire, Wis.) chipped in eight. Hansen recording a career-high 20 assists, and Lind and Morgan Thomas (Palos Park, Ill.) each tallied nine digs.
