WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's soccer team closes out its 2016 regular-season schedule on Saturday, as the Cardinals entertain Carleton in a 1 p.m. Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference showdown at Ochrymowycz Field.

• Saturday's game against Carleton is the final collegiate game for Cardinal seniors Emma Schaefer (Roseville, Minn.), Ellen Moran (Lakeville, Minn.), Marissa Dressely (Cottage Grove, Minn.), Aubrie Cornell (Columbia, Mo.), and Bridgett Leverich (Oswego, Ill.). … Gabriella Pederson (Chaska, Minn.) equaled her career high with 10 saves—including eight in the first half—against St. Catherine on Wednesday. Pederson also made 10 saves in a 1-0 setback against Hamline on Oct. 8. … Pederson has now stopped eight or more shots in a game seven times this season. … Pederson, who has started the Cardinals' last 15 games in goal, has recorded two shutouts this season.
