Blair Sanders (Lee's Summit, Mo. / 79.67) and

Brett Jackson (Edmonton, Alberta) turned in the Cardinals' best 36-hole performance of the season at the Midwest Region Classic on Sept. 25-26, carding rounds of three-over-par 75 and two-over 74 for a 149 total. … Saint Mary's boasted five rounds of 74 or better during the fall portion of its schedule. Along with the 72s by Iten and Brodt, and the 74 by Jackson, the Cardinals also got rounds of 74 by Rau and Sanders. … Sanders' second-round 78 during the Augsburg Invitational on Sept. 4 was highlighted by his first career hole-in-one. The freshman aced the 190-yard fourth hole at Majestic Oaks Golf Course, using a five-iron. … The Cardinals' second-day 297 at Carthage's Tim Kopka Memorial Tournament on Sept. 10 tied the single-day school record. … With their win over Macalester on Sept. 1, the Cardinals snapped an eight-year Scots' winning streak in the annual MacMary Dual.
