The Cardinals — who opened the season last week with a 9-0 win over Martin Luther — picked up straight-set wins in five of the six singles matches, while sweeping through the three doubles contests.
"The ladies played a great match from start-to-finish," said Saint Mary's coach
Jeff Halberg. "I'm very proud of their effort tonight."
Colleen Lois (Green Bay, Wis.) posted a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 1 singles, while
Cassandra Barr (Eau Claire, Wis.) and
Kailee Johnson (Rochester, Minn.) delivered 6-1, 6-1 wins at No. 2 and No. 3 singles, respectively.
