  SAINT MARY'S CARDINALS SCOUTING REPORT
The Cardinals enter Sunday's matchup against Concordia having posted their first win of the season with a 2-1 victory over Augsburg on the road last Sunday. … The Cardinals got a first-half goal from Wally Barros (Santa Maria da Boa Vista, Brazil) and netted the game-winner on an Augsburg own goal in the 80th minute to secure their win against Augsburg last Sunday. … Diego Rivera (Chicago, Ill.) picked up the assist on Barros's first half goal. … Daniel Sessler (Brookfield, Ill.) — who made seven saves in his first collegiate start in goal for the Cardinals against St. Thomas on April 8 — finished with four saves against the Auggies last Sunday. … Eli Szymanski (La Crosse, Wis.) accounted for all four Cardinal shot attempts against the Tommies Thursday, including a second-half free kick attempt that clanked off the crossbar. Szymanski added three more shot attempts against Augsburg and currently leads the team in both attempts (7) and shots on goal (2). … The Cardinals have scored single goals in each half through two games, while their opponents have netted two goals in each half. … Saint Mary's has played two exhibition games this season, battling both St. Scholastica and St. Olaf to 1-1 draws. … Saint Mary's 3-0 loss to St. Thomas last Thursday snapped the Cardinals' five-year, season-opening winning streak. … The Cardinals are coming off an 8-10-0 showing in 2019. … Saint Mary's eight wins in 2019 were the most in a season since finishing 8-9-1 in 2017.   CONCORDIA COBBERS SCOUTING REPORT
The Cobbers improved to 3-1 overall with a thrilling, 4-3 overtime win over Augsburg on Saturday. CC had their season-opening two-game winning streak snapped with a 2-1 loss to Saint John's on Wednesday. CC had opened the season with wins over Jamestown (4-3) and Bethel (2-1). … All four of the Cobbers' games this season have been decided by one goal. … Sondre Rygg — who scored CC's lone goal in last Wednesday's loss to Saint John's — scored the game-winner against Augsburg Saturday, less than five minutes into the overtime period. … Nate Weaver scored twice against the Auggies Saturday and Matthew Nermer added the other to go with Rygg's OT game-winner. … Weaver leads the team with three goals, while Rygg, Nemer and Telvin Vah have all scored twice. … Vah owns the team in assists (5), points (9), shots attempted (15), and shots on goal (8). … Rygg, Weaver, and Koplin own Concordia's three game-winning goals this season. … Noah Sahr has played all four games in goal for the Cobbers, compiling a 2.19 goals-against-average and a .526 save percentage. … Sahr has stopped 10 of the 19 shots he's faced.
