• CAREER FIRSTS: The Cardinals have had three players record their first collegiate goals this season. Along with Williams’ tally against St. Catherine last Friday, Ella Lahart (Sherwood, Ore.) and Lauryn Skoruppa (Littleton, Colo.) both recorded their first goals in a Cardinal uniform against UM-Morris on Sept. 1. … Skoruppa also added an assist against the Cougars on Sept. 1 en route to her first career three-point game.
• SPREADING THE WEALTH: With her game-winning goal against Gustavus on Tuesday, McKinney moved into a share of the team lead in goals (2) with Skoruppa. The Cardinals’ other four goals have come from five different players — Williams, Lahart, Haddy Falkman (Waconia, Minn.), and Kaley Manglitz (Onalaska, Wis.).
• LENDING A HAND: Dakota Leonard (Lincolnshire, Ill.) recorded her second assist in as many games against Gustavus Tuesday and shares the team assist lead (2) with Falkman. McKinney, Skoruppa, and Williams have also collected a helper this season.
• POINT PRODUCER: Along with their team-leading two goals, McKinney and Skoruppa also share the team lead with five points, one more than Falkman (1 G, 2 A) and two in front of Williams (1 G, 1 A).

• NEW THIS YEAR: The NCAA implemented a new rule beginning with the 2022 that will eliminate all overtimes in regular-season games. Games that are deadlocked following the scheduled 90 minute will go in the books as ties. Once in post-season, if a game is tied following regulation, there will be two, 10-minute overtime periods — with no golden goal — followed by a shootout if the game is still tied.
