ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Cardinal cross country teams finished their last regular season meet in Illinois Saturday with top 40 team finishes. The team raced in the Augustana Interregional Invite that hosted over 40 teams around the nation.

Mya Slavin was the first to finish the race for the Cardinals with a time of 23:28:4, she has finished first for the women all season.
Kendra Schneider finished behind Slavin with a time of 24:48:7.
Megan Frosch and
Abbie Meyer finished next to each other with a pace of 26:13:3 and 26:29:6. Freshman
Katherine Goergen missed a personal record by seven seconds with a pace of 27:54:5 for the Cardinals.

Isaiah Fitzgerald was the first Cardinal to cross the finish line with a pace of 26:59:0, similar to Slavin, Fitzgerald has been the top finisher for the men's team all season.
Sean Smyth was the second Cardinal to finish with a time of 27:42:7.
Grant Schneider returned to the playing field earning a pace of 28:35:1.
Ryan Topolski and
Goi Ruei finished within six runners of each other.
