NORTHFIELD, Minn. - The Saint Mary's cross country teams completed their 2024 season at the highly competitive NCAA DIII North Regional Championships hosted by Carleton College.Â

Women's Results
Finishing one shy of a top 100 place, Saint Mary's freshman
Mya Slavin, who notched MIAC Honorable Mention Honors, recorded a 24:41:60 pace. Behind her were teammates Kendra Klobe and
Abbie Meyer with a time of 26:28:40 and 26:37:10. Rounding out their final race, Cardinals
Megan Frosch,
Katherine Goergen,
Rheanna Hopkins, and
Sophia Bemis each finished eight runners between each other.Â

The women finished the season 10th in the MIAC and finished 27th out of 31 teams to compete in today's North Regional race.

Sean Smyth and
Isaiah Fitzgerald finished within the top 140 runners, well over 200 in the race, for Saint Mary's with times of 27:25:60 and 27:34:70.
Grant Schneider recorded a 28:03:70 pace to finish third for the Cardinals.
Ryan Topolski and
Goi Ruei finished within a runner of another at 28:28:90 and 28:41:10. Saint Mary's senior
Cade Kloss and sophomore
Evan Finney finish with five seconds separating the two for their team.Â

The men finished the season 9th in the MIAC and finished 25th out of 31 teams to compete in today's North Regional race.

Both the UW-La Crosse teams swept the board and captured the men's and women's team titles. This title for the men's will notch back-to-back wins. The women finished second last year.Â
