WINONA, Minn. - The Saint Mary's women's tennis team (2-1) returned to action today, facing Martin Luther College (0-1) at the Winona Tennis Center for their season opener. The Cardinals dominated on their home court, kicking off the 2025 season with a 6-1 victory.
 
The team had an excellent performance, with every Cardinal securing a win! Emily Henderson faced a tough match but managed to pull out the victory. Elena Ruzevich and Harsha Gangasani both delivered dominant performances, each claiming a decisive win, which helped energize their teammates as well.
 
The team really showcases their chemistry, with the doubles pairs securing a clean sweep.

The Saint Mary's women's tennis team is back at home, set to play the next two Saturdays at home, and they'll face Ripon College on February 1st at 1:30 p.m.
