WINONA, Minn. - The Saint Mary's men's tennis team (2-3) wrapped up their busy weekend at home on Sunday afternoon, going up against one of the top teams in the region, the Carleton Knights (4-1).
Gavin Pratt and
Tucker Stene fought hard against their ranked opponents, managing to score up to three points each.
The Cardinals were still dealing with illnesses and injuries leading up to this tough match, which also marked their third of the weekend.
Head coach Jeff Helberg said, "The guys went up against one of the best teams in the region today. We fought hard, but the Knights were simply too deep."
The men will be back home on Saturday, February 1st, to face Ripon College at 1:30 p.m.
