WINONA, Minn. – To wrap up their weekend at home, the Saint Mary's women's tennis team (11-5) welcomed conference leader St. Olaf (9-0) on Sunday afternoon.

The team fought hard and didn't back down, giving it their all, but ultimately fell short with a 6-3 loss.

The Cardinals lost two of the doubles points after three closely contested sets but sealed a tie-breaker win with teammates
Alli Laux and
Elena Ruzevich.

Laux went one to seal another singles win in her second tie-breaker of the day winning, 7-6, 6-2.

Kathryn Stiegel secured the final victory of the day at No. 6 singles, triumphing in a super breaker with a 2-6, 6-2, 10-7 score.

The Cardinals are set to take on St. Catherine at home this Friday, March 21st, at 6:00 p.m.
