BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- The Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) announced its Athlete of the Week award winners for volleyball, soccer, golf, and cross country on Tuesday. Student-athletes from Augsburg, Carleton, Macalester, Saint John's, Saint Mary's, and St. Olaf claimed the Conference's weekly honors.
The MIAC Athlete of the Week awards are nominated by the Conference's sports information directors and selected by MIAC staff. Throughout the fall season, team sports (football, soccer, and volleyball) Athletes of the Week will be recognized on Monday afternoons, with individual sports (cross country and golf) announced on Tuesday afternoons. The winners of the latest Athlete of the Week awards are listed below, along with details on their outstanding performances.

Sam Munson opened the 2025 campaign with three goals and a pair of assists as the Cardinals tallied wins over UM-Morris (8/29) and UW-Platteville (9/1). Munson scored the first two goals and assisted on the third in a 5-0 win over the Cougars to start the year before being credited with the game-winner on a penalty kick late in the second half of a 2-1 home win against the Pioneers. Munson also assisted on the opening goal of the game.
