WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's women's tennis team (5-1) put together a dominant performance on its home courts Friday evening, rolling to a 6-1 victory over Crown College (0-4) at the Winona Tennis Center.

The Cardinals wasted no time taking control, sweeping all three doubles matches to grab an early 3-0 lead. At No. 1 doubles, Elena Ruzevich and Olivia Molumby were sharp in a commanding 6-0 win. Maddie Jensen and Harsha Gangasani followed with a 6-3 victory at No. 2, while Kathryn Stiegel and Sophia Binder secured the sweep with a 6-3 decision at No. 3.

With momentum firmly on their side, Saint Mary's continued to shine in singles play, claiming five of six matches.

Ruzevich set the tone at No. 1 singles with a dominant 6-1, 6-2 straight-set victory. At No. 2, Aheli Patel rebounded after dropping the first set to win in a third-set tiebreak (0-6, 6-2, 10-4). Maddie Jensen was equally impressive at No. 4, cruising to a 6-1, 6-2 win.

Harsha Gangasani battled at No. 5, rallying for a 7-5, 6-0 victory, and Kathryn Stiegel capped the singles lineup with a strong 6-3, 6-1 performance at No. 6. Crown's lone point came at No. 3 singles.
