STORM LAKE, Iowa – The Saint Mary's women's soccer team (3-5-1) got back-to-back wins for the first time this season! The Cardinals traveled to take on the Buena Vista Beavers (1-6-1) in a nonconference Sunday showdown, where senior Hannah Bradley's game-winning goal, 1-0, kept the Cardinals' perfect weekend alive.
The Cardinals were in total control, from start to finish. In the first half alone, the Cardinals outshot the Beavers 11-1. Makalya Clow, Ayshai Gay, and Shea Moomaw each had the team's best looks in the first half, but were unable to find the back of the net in the first.
At the 60th minute, a perfect toe-tip through ball from Lily Smiley to Bradley in the box was all the leverage the team needed.

Conference play resumes this Tuesday, Sept. 29, as the Cardinals travel to Saint Benedict for a 4:00 p.m. game.
