Sanchez has been the defensive sparkplug for the Cardinal women's soccer team all season. On Sunday, Sanchez was unstoppable, as the senior goalkeeper stopped all five shots she faced in leading SMU to a 1-0 nonconference victory over UW-River Falls. The shutout was the fifth of the season and 11th of her career for Sanchez, who boasts a 1.00 goals-against-average and an .846 save percentage in 12 games.
