Carter hit .643 in the SMU fastpitch softball team's four conference games last week, leading the Cardinals to a 3-1 record. The sophomore outfielder collected nine hits in 14 at-bats, scored two runs and drove in nine, while boasting a .714 slugging percentage. She also walked twice and had six putouts and an assist.
