Smith went 2-1 in both singles and doubles play in the Cardinal men's tennis team's three matches last weekend.
The senior opened the weekend with a hard-fought, 6-3, 4-6, 12-10 No. 3 singles win against Morningside (Iowa) on Saturday, and added another three-set marathon win at No. 3 singles against Concordia on Sunday, winning 6-2, 4-6, 10-5.
In doubles action, Smith teamed with Andrew Johnson for an 8-1 win at No. 2 against Morningside (Iowa) on Saturday, before adding an 8-5 victory a day later against Concordia.
Smith leads the team in both singles (11) and doubles (9) victories this season.
