Newum—Saint Mary's first male national cross country qualifer—broke the school’s eight-kilometer record for the third time in as many races last Saturday at the NCAA Division III National Championships in Mason, Ohio, as the Cardinal sophomore placed 107th in the 280-runner field with a time of 25:24.
