Shields set a school record in her first start of the season for the Cardinal women's hockey team, as the junior made 76 saves in Saint Mary's 2-0 nonconference loss to UW-Superior last Saturday.

Shields equaled the previoius school record after two periods vs. the Yellowjackets, stopping all 55 shots she faced. Shields added 24 more saves in the third period en route to her 76-save total
