Wendt kicked off her junior season with a bang last weekend, scoring five goals in leading the Cardinal women's hockey team to a 5-3 win over Marian and a 3-1 victory over St. Norbert.

Wendt opened the weekend by scoring the Cardinals' first three goals in lifting Saint Mary's to the season-opening victory over Marian. And, a day after notching her first collegiate hat-trick, Wendt was at it again against St. Norbert, scoring twice in the 3-1 victory over the Green Knights.
