Giannini hit .429 in leading SMU to splits against Bethel and UW-La Crosse last week. The senior catcher collected six hits — including a double and a triple — in 14 at-bats, while also driving in three runs and boasting a .643 slugging percentage.

For the season, Giannini is hitting .277 (18-for-65) with three doubles, a triple and 14 RBIs.
