Caples enjoyed a banner weekend for the Saint Mary’s women’s swim team, collecting three first-place finishes and adding a second in the Cardinals’ two meets.
 
The freshman won the 100 butterfly (1:05.42) and placed second in the 200 freestyle (2:12.71) in last Friday’s dual-meet against UM-Morris, while stopping the clock in 2:25.66 to win the 200 IM and adding a first-place time of 1:06.18 in the 100 backstroke in the Cardinals’ double-dual against UM-Morris and Ripon the following afternoon.
