Vesel was an offensive juggernaut for the Saint Mary’s women’s basketball team, averaging 23.0 points-per-game in the Cardinals’ two conference contests.
 
The sophomore scored a team-leading 18 points and added six rebounds in the Cardinals’ 79-77 double-overtime loss to St. Catherine last Wednesday, before pouring in a career-high 28 points and adding eight rebounds in Saint Mary’s 76-71 loss to Concordia three days later.
 
For the week, Vesel 15-for-32 from the field — including 4 of 9 from behind the free throw line, while adding a 12-for-15 effort from the free throw line. Vesel delivered 14 rebounds, seven steals and a pair of blocked shots.
