Mallory enjoyed a career weekend in the Cardinal men’s basketball team’s season-opening weekend, averaging 15.5 ppg and adding six rebounds, three assists and six blocks in SMU’s games against nationally ranked UW-Platteville and UW-Whitewater. The junior poured in a career-best 20 points in SMU’s 91-71 loss to UW-Platteville last Friday, before adding 11 points in the Cardinals’ 71-53 setback at the hands of No. 2 UW-Whitewater.
