Steffes enjoyed a dominating week in the pitcher’s circle last week, appearing in five of the Cardinals’ six games, compiling a 2-0 record and a 1.62 ERA, while tossing two complete games and picking up saves in two of the Cardinals’ other three wins on the week.
 
And when she wasn’t frustrating opposing hitters, she was making life miserable for opposing pitchers, collecting eight hits in 20 at-bats (.400), delivering two doubles and a home run among her eight hits, while also coring seven times.
