Saint Mary's Cardinals Around The Horn:

Brett Ferschweiler (Rochester, Minn.) turned in a career-best pitching performance in SMU's opener against St. Thomas Tuesday, limiting the high-powered Tommies to just one hit — a sixth-inning, one-out single.
