WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University baseball, which earned a split in its nonconference doubleheader against Luther in its home opener on Monday, returns to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Wednesday, playing host to Carleton in a 2:30 p.m. conference doubleheader at Max Molock Field.

Last Action:
The Cardinals gave up four runs in the seventh inning — three after a two-out SMU error — in dropping a 6-1 Game 1 decision to Luther Monday, then took advantage of two seventh-inning Norse errors to earn the nonconference split with a 6-5 Game 2 win in Winona, Minn. Carleton, meanwhile, has been off since Saturday, when the Knights opened conference play with 4-1 and 9-4 losses to defending national champion St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minn.
