September 4, 2010 — The two teams played 10, 18-hole match-play matches, with points being awarded for winning the Front 9, Back 9 and the entire 18 holes. The Knights dominated the competition, handing SMU a
26-4 setback.
April 30, 2011 — The Cardinals and Knights squared off in a Ryder Cup match at Cedar Valley Golf Course, with the Cardinals coming away with an
8 1/2 - 6 1/2 victory. The format was a modified Ryder Cup competition, with each team being subdivided into teams of two. Each twosome played six holes of best ball, six holes of alternate shot and six holes of best shot, with a point awarded for each of the three segments.

The Cardinals and Knights are both back in action on Sept. 10-11, when they travel to Majestic Oaks Golf Course in Ham Lake, Minn., for the 36-hole Augsburg Invitational.
