MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University baseball team is back in action Sunday, squaring off against UW-Oshkosh in a 9 p.m. doubleheader at the Metrodome.

Last Action:
The Cardinals picked up a nonconference split against Cornell (Iowa) last Saturday, winning Game 1 8-3, before falling just short in the nightcap, 7-6. … UW-Oshkosh, meanwhile, split its nonconference doubleheader against Northwestern at the Metrodome Monday, falling in the opener 4-3, before bouncing back with a 6-3 win in Game 2.

SMU vs. UW-Oshkosh — Their Last Meeting:
The Cardinals and Titans have not met since the 1993 post-season, when they squared off three times in the NCAA Midwest Regional. UW-Oshkosh won the first of those meetings, 6-0, while SMU took the second 4-2. In the elimination game, it was the Titans coming away with a 5-2 victory.

Up Next:
The Cardinals are back in the Metrodome one final time on Tuesday, when SMU and Luther take to the turf for a pair of nonconference games, beginning at 8 p.m. … UW-Oshkosh, meanwhile, also returns to action in the Metrodome, as the Titans and Saint John's tangle in a 12:15 p.m. nonconference doubleheader on Monday.

Sunday's DH against Saint Mary's will be the Titans' ninth and 10th games played in the Metrodome this season. … Eight of UW-Oshkosh's first 10 games this season have been against Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foes.
