The Cardinals and Titans have not met since the 1993 post-season, when they squared off three times in the NCAA Midwest Regional. UW-Oshkosh won the first of those meetings, 6-0, while SMU took the second 4-2. In the elimination game, it was the Titans coming away with a 5-2 victory.
