Enter pitcher Chris Bogie (St. Paul, Minn.), who did just that, as he picked up the Cardinals and carried them on his shoulders — tossing a complete-game four-hitter in leading SMU to an 8-2 Game 2 win and a split in the teams' Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader at Max Molock Field.

When SMU returns home to face Saint John's on April 21, the Cardinals will have played 25 of its first 29 games on the road. … The Cardinals' 4-3 loss to Concordia in the second game of their doubleheader Tuesday, marked the second time in 24 hours SMU had fallen 4-3 in Game 2 of its twinbill.
