SMU vs. Concordia — A Year Ago:
February 17, 2012: SMU's hopes of reaching the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoffs were alive — albeit on life support — when the Cardinals squared off against Concordia at the SMU Ice Arena. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, the Cobbers' officially pulled the plug on those hopes, as Concordia scored two goals in each of the first two periods in handing SMU a 5-2 MIAC setback at the SMU Ice Arena.
February 18, 2012: For the second game in a row, SMU managed to score two goals against MIAC playoff-bound Concordia. Unlike Friday's 5-2 setback, however, two goals was enough to earn the Cardinals a point as SMU battled the Cobbers to a 2-2 tie in the teams' Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference rematch at the SMU Ice Arena.

Up Next:
The Cardinals close out the regular season against Bethel next weekend.
