Blake Westerberg (Red Wing, Minn.) placed third overall among the 110 competitors at last weekend's Saint John's Invitational. Westerberg carded rounds of 75 (3-over) and 72 (even-par) for his 147 third-place total. … The even-par second round at Saint John's marked the second straight weekend Westerberg has posted an even-par round. The Cardinal senior shot a even-par 71 during the first round of the Carthage/Tim Kopka Invitational on Sept. 11. … Westerberg, who has not had a round over 79 this season, has been a combined seven-over in his last four rounds. … Westerberg has now recorded 26 rounds of 79 or better during his four-year collegiate career. … Westerberg currently owns a 79.07 career scoring average, ranking him third all-time behind Eric Thom (77.40) and Jesse Polk (78.33). …
Brett Jackson (Edmonton, Alberta)—coming off a 71-75—146 at the Carthage/Tim Kopka Invitational on Sept. 11-12—was second to Westerberg at the Saint John's Invitational, shooting 158 (75-83). … Jackson's second-round 83 at the Saint John's Invitational snapped a streak of five straight rounds of 75 or lower. … Jackson's second-round even-par 71 at the Carthage/Tim Kopka Invitational was his collegiate low round. …
Kyle Brodt (Roseville, Minn.) chipped in a 158 (85-79) at the Saint John's Invitational last weekend, while
David Iten (Fridley, Minn. / 89-86—175) and
