LAKE FOREST, Ill. - The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota women's hockey team hits the road on Sunday, returning to Alumni Memorial Rink for the second game of their two-game nonconference series against nationally ranked Lake Forest. Game time is set for 2 p.m.

Saint Mary's vs. Lake Forest-A Year Ago:
January 9, 2015 * Winona, Minn.: Through their first 11 games of the season, the Cardinals had been outscored by just two goals, 25-23-most glaring, however, was the fact that Saint Mary's opponents held a 12-6 scoring advantage in the middle period. Thanks to a Mary DeBartolo (Chicago, Ill.) goal with 7:06 left in the middle stanza, the Cardinals outscored Lake Forest 1-0 in the second period. And thanks to a goal by Jesse Cwik (Chicago, Ill.) early in the third period, Saint Mary's outscored the Foresters 1-0 in the third period. Saint Mary's: The Cardinals return to Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Saturday, traveling to St. Thomas Ice Arena in Mendota Heights, Minn., for a 2 p.m. MIAC contest. The two teams will then head to the Saint Mary's Ice Arena on Sunday for the second game of their two-game conference series, also a 2 p.m. start.
Lake Forest: The Foresters head to Duluth, Minn., next weekend for a pair of NCHA games against St. Scholastica. Lake Forest and the Saints will square off at 7 p.m. on Friday, before playing a 2 p.m. game the following day.
