NORTHFIELD, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University men's and women's cross country teams are back in action on Saturday, traveling to Carleton College to take part in the season-ending NCAA Division III Central Regional.

Jovan Newsum (Glendale Heights, Ill.) earned his first All-MIAC honor this time around, posting an 8K time of 26:08 in placing third at the MIAC Championships on Oct. 28. … Newsum's third-place finish is the highest individual performance by a Cardinal runner—male or female—at the MIAC Championships. … In his last two races, Newsum has posted season-best times of 26:14 and 26:08. … Newsum's 26:08 at the MIAC Championships is his best effort since posting a time of 25:41 at the 2015 UW-La Crosse Jim Drews Invitational. …
Austin O'Hare (Rushford, Minn.) and
