ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota men's and women's swimming and diving teams return to action this weekend, taking part in the three-day Rochester Invitational, hosted by St. Cloud State University.

• Brooke Shefchik (Stevens Point, Wis.) touched the wall in 5:40.83 in the 500 freestyle and added a time of 11:50.43 in the 1,000 freestyle en route to her two second-place times at Macalester's Roger Ahlman Invitational on Nov. 11. … Jack McCormick (Milwaukee, Wis.) also posted a pair of second-place efforts at the Roger Ahlman Invitational on Nov. 11, touching the wall in 4:57.27 in the 500 freestyle and adding a time of 10:27.72 in the 1000 freestyle. … Alexis Holliday (South Milwaukee, Wis.) placed fourth in the 500 freestyle (5:49.26) and seventh in the 1,000 (12:36.84) at the Roger Ahlman Invitational, while Amanda Hansen (Brooklyn Park, Minn.) added a sixth in the 1,000 freestyle (12:31.23) and Alyssa Haram (Maple Grove, Minn.) posted a seventh in the 500 freestyle (5:53.95). … Other women's highlights at the Roger Ahlman Invitational on Nov. 11 included: the Saint Mary's women's 200 freestyle relay of Holliday, Haram, Isis Hurtado (Chicago, Ill.), and Claire King (Red Wing, Minn.) placed third, while Kierra Walske (Rochester, Minn.) was fourth in the three-meter diving (174.80) and Kayla Boettcher (Colfax, Wis.) was fifth in the one-meter competition (171.85). Haram and Emme Quandt (Shawano, Wis.) chipped in seventh-place efforts in the 200 freestyle (2:13.03) and 200 butterfly (2:35.71) for the Cardinal women, while Erica Camarato (DeForest, Wis. / 8^th, 100 breaststroke, 1:20.57; 9^th, 200 IM, 2:39.33), and Shefchik (9^th, 200 freestyle (2:15.43) also posted top-10 finishes. … On the men's side, McCormick added a fourth in the 200 freestyle to his two second-place finishes, while Brian Mockler (Dubuque, Iowa) was seventh in the 100 backstroke (1:12.11) and Nick Sawchuk (Rochester, Minn.) finished 12^th in the 100 freestyle (57.01) and 13^th in the 50 freestyle (26.68).
