WINONA, Minn. — The Saint Mary's University of Minnesota baseball team gets back into Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play on Wednesday, as the Cardinals host Augsburg in a 2:30 p.m. doubleheader at Max Molock Field.

• The Auggies' 4-1 Game 1 win over Carleton Tuesday snapped their four-game losing streak. … Augsburg heads into Wednesday's games against Saint Mary's 3-7 in its last 10 games. … Dayton Danielson tossed a complete-game seven-hitter in the opener against Carleton Tuesday, while Mathew Nicklay gave the Auggies' their second straight complete-game pitching performance, allowing just three hits in the Game 2 Augsburg victory. … Mike Brookshaw and Joe Rydel each had two hits for Augsburg in the opener vs. Carleton Tuesday, while Jordan DeCroock was a perfect 4-for-4 with a pair of runs scored and two RBIs in the nightcap. … Brookshaw heads into Wednesday's games against Saint Mary's hitting a team-best .477.
